Malcolm graduated from St Andrews University with an MA in International Relations, and then qualified with PriceWaterhouseCoopers London as a Chartered Accountant. He worked in corporate finance, strategy consulting and investment banking in the UK, USA and Middle East and graduated with an MBA from Warwick University in 1992. In his career as Finance Director, Malcolm has served in T&N plc and Morgan Crucible plc, two FTSE 250 UK engineering groups, as Finance Director of large global divisions, and in two large global services groups as group Finance Director. Malcolm has international experience, including the management of fast growing operations in Asia. Before joining Nusantara Energy plc Malcolm was Finance Director and Company Secretary of Platinum Mining Corporation of India plc (PMCI). Malcolm left PMCI after it was taken over in early 2007 to join London Mining plc as Finance Director, which listed in Oslo in late 2007. Malcolm stepped down as Finance Director at London Mining in the Summer of 2008 and now sits as a Non-Executive Director there. He is also a Non-Executive Director at Tengri Coal of Mongolia.
