Keith established Bankside, a financial PR consultancy, in 1991 after more than 20 years' experience of corporate communications at Director level, in particular in the mining and building material sectors, with substantial UK and overseas companies as Amax, Blue Circle, Minorco and RTZ. A former journalist, his extensive communications experience has covered investor and media relations, community action programmes, political monitoring and lobbying in the UK and continental Europe, and employee and trade union affairs. Keith is particularly active in the mining sector and was appointed Executive Director of NE PLC in 2007.
