Brian is the Managing Partner of Meyer Hosking & Associates, a leading executive search boutique in the mining and resources sector. A qualified Geologist he has experience working in coal, gold, diamonds and base metals exploration and mining. In particular he has a strong interest in coal geology, focusing his academic studies on the coal bearing sequences of the Zambezi Valley, this work eventually lead to him join Sasol Coal where he ended up managing all the geological and exploration work at the newly developed Secunda Coal Mining complex. He is also a Director of Crew Gold Corporation, a mining and exploration company listed on the Toronto and Oslo Stock Exchanges. Brian joined NE PLC in July 2008.
